Welcome to PosterYX (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1) Who we are

2) Information we collect

• Account & contact: email address when you request a sign-in link, and metadata that links your browser to your account.
• Billing: Stripe Customer ID and related subscription details. We do not store any credit card information on our Servers..
• Usage & analytics: page views, events, device/browser info, and cookies/localStorage used to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
• User content: projects you design and upload (text, images, logos, etc.).
• Log data: IP address, timestamps, user agent, error logs.

3) How we use information

• Provide and improve the Service (editor, templates, exports, billing).
• Authenticate you via email link and maintain sessions.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
• Analyze feature usage (Google Analytics) to improve reliability and UX.
• Detect/prevent abuse, debug issues, and comply with legal obligations.

4) Cookies & analytics

We use necessary cookies for sign-in and session management and may set optional analytics cookies through Google Analytics. You can disable non-essential cookies via your browser or our cookie banner (where applicable). Analytics data is aggregated and does not include payment card details.

5) Payment processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you start checkout, we share your email (if available) and a unique customer ID with Stripe to create/manage your subscription. Stripe’s use of your data is governed by its own policies.

6) Data sharing

• Processors: Stripe (payments), email provider (magic links), cloud hosting, logging/monitoring.
• Legal: we may disclose information to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights.
• We do not sell personal information.

7) Data retention

Account and billing records are retained while your account is active and as required for tax/accounting. Project files are retained until you delete them or your account is removed.

8) Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing where applicable (e.g., GDPR/CCPA). Contact marketing@posteryx.com.

9) International transfers

Your information may be processed in the country where our servers or our processors (e.g., Stripe, Google) operate. We implement safeguards appropriate to the transfer.

10) Security

We use TLS/HTTPS, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11) Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect such data.

12) Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
